Conference 2007

Wednesday 11 April to Saturday 14 April 2007, Oxford

2007 marks the 10th anniversary of The ACCU Conference. As ever the conference will bring software professionals the chance to hear about the latest ideas in software development. Our programme features tracks covering the future of C++, developing software for mobile platforms, dynamic languages and agile development techniques.

For our 10th anniversary, we have a new location. The sell-out success of the 2006 conference has led us to find a new venue: the Paramount Oxford Hotel. On the outskirts of Oxford, this boasts a modern conference centre and ample public spaces, not to mention air-conditioning - all factors to increase our comfort during the course of the event.

From a previous ACCU Conference And we have a great event for you to enjoy and participate in. Indeed, participation is certainly encouraged: one of the key features which make the ACCU Conference one of the most enjoyable events around is the amazing atmosphere generated by all of the attendees. As Herb Sutter comments:

"ACCU in particular is always a blast because the audience is always highly interactive and supercharged"

Our keynote speakers include Lean Software Development expert Mary Poppendieck, leading C++ authority Dan Saks and Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth. Also included in the programme are such names as James Coplien, John Lakos, Andrei Alexandrescu, Jutta Eckstein and Nico Josuttis.

From a previous ACCU Conference

The programme has been designed to facilitate dialogue between developers, analysts, planners and managers. It covers a wide range of subjects including development process, design, analysis and patterns as well as softer aspects such as team building, communication and leadership. The world class line-up of speakers includes many well known industry figures, writers and practicing developers from the front line of software development.

11-14 April 2007 Oxford UK -- Don't miss it.
