The ACCU passes on review copies of computer books to its members for them to review. The result is a large, high quality collection of book reviews by software professionals, for software professionals. Currently there are more than 1900 reviews, with more being added regularly.
Reviews are made available through six different interfaces for your convenience:
The Reviews by Date page orders the reviews in the order in which they were added, with the most recent reviews first. (Please note that reviews added prior to November 1998 may not be in the correct order.)
The Reviews by Title page orders the reviews by book title (ignoring "the", "a", and "an" at the beginning of the title).
The Reviews by Author page orders the reviews by author. Books written by multiple authors have entries for each author. All books for a given author are sorted by title.
The Reviews by Reviewer page orders the reviews by reviewers last name, making it easy to find all of the reviews by a reviewer. All reviews for a given reviewer are sorted by title.
The Reviews by Publisher page orders the reviews by the publisher's name. All reviews for a given publisher are sorted by publish date.
The Reviews by Rating page orders the reviews by the reviewer's rating. All reviews with the same rating are sorted by review date (most recent first).
Each page (other than Reviews by Date and Reviews by Rating) contain an alphabet skip list at the top that will help you navigate directly to entries beginning with that character. The Reviews by Rating page has a rating skip list, where five hollow stars indicate a review that wasn't given a rating.
If you are a member, and would like to review one of the available books, please refer to this page for more information (member login required).
