This book is excellent and has not left my office desk since I received it. If you have any involvement with client/ server development with VB then this book is a must.

There's little to say about this book that isn't already said in the title. Everything you wanted to know about client/server development with VB5 is covered here. Topics covered include the basics of client/server including the three tier model, remote data objects, interfacing to databases using ODBC, SQL server management, ActiveX controls and writing for the web. Each topic is coupled with example code or detailed instructions on how to complete the task. These examples are grouped into their complexity; beginning, intermediate and advanced. This book is excellent and has not left my office desk since I received it. If you have any involvement with client/ server development with VB then this book is a must.
